حَدَّثَنَا هَيْثَمٌ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ رَبِّهِ (٢) بْنُ مَيْمُونٍ الْأَشْعَرِيُّ، عَنِ الْعَلَاءِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ، عَنْ مَكْحُولٍ، رَفَعَهُ قَالَ: " أَيُّمَا شَجَرَةٍ أَظَلَّتْ عَلَى قَوْمٍ فَصَاحِبُهُ بِالْخِيَارِ، مِنْ قَطْعِ مَا أَظَلَّ (٣) أَوْ أَكْلِ ثَمَرِهَا " (٤)، ،

Translation

English translation

Makhool says: If a tree casts its shade over a people, its owner has the right to remove its shade or to eat its fruit.
