Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عِيسَى، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ الشَّامِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي أَسِيدٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " كُلُوا الزَّيْتَ وَادَّهِنُوا، ، بِهِ، فَإِنَّهُ مِنْ شَجَرَةٍ مُبَارَكَةٍ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Usaid that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: Eat the fruit of the olive and apply its oil, for it comes from a blessed tree.
