Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أَحْمَدَ الزُّبَيْرِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ يَعْنِي ابْنَ حَبِيبِ بْنِ أَبِي ثَابِتٍ، عَنْ حَمْزَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ سَعْدٍ، قَالَ: لَمَّا خَرَجَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فِي غَزْوَةِ تَبُوكَ خَلَّفَ عَلِيًّا، فَقَالَ لَهُ: أَتُخَلِّفُنِي؟ فقَالَ لَهُ: " أَمَا تَرْضَى أَنْ تَكُونَ مِنِّي بِمَنْزِلَةِ هَارُونَ مِنْ مُوسَى، إِلا أَنَّهُ لَا نَبِيَّ بَعْدِي " (٣)، ،
Translation
English translation
Isma"eel bin Muhammad narrated from ‘Amir bin Sa"d that Sa"d said when he was sick:
If I die, make a lahd (niche) for me and do what was done for the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ).
