حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنُ بْنُ مُوسَى، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ أَبُو زَيْدٍ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ التَّيْمِيِّ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ غَسَّانَ التَّيْمِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ: كَانَ أَبِي فِي الْوَفْدِ الَّذِينَ وَفَدُوا إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنْ، ، عَبْدِ القَيْسٍ، فَنَهَاهُمْ عَنْ هَذِهِ الْأَوْعِيَةِ، قَالَ: فَاتَّخَمْنَا، ثُمَّ أَتَيْنَاهُ الْعَامَ الْمُقْبِلَ، قَالَ: فَقُلْنَا: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، إِنَّكَ نَهَيْتَنَا عَنْ هَذِهِ الْأَوْعِيَةِ فَاتَّخَمْنَا، قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " انْتَبِذُوا فِيمَا بَدَا لَكُمْ، وَلَا تَشْرَبُوا مُسْكِرًا، فَمَنْ شَاءَ أَوْكَى سِقَاءَهُ عَلَى إِثْمٍ " (١)، ،
Translation
English translation
Rasim says that we went to the Prophet (ﷺ) as a delegation, and the Prophet (ﷺ) forbade us from using certain specific vessels. We came again and said: Our land is saline. The Prophet (ﷺ) said: You may drink water from whichever vessel you wish, and whoever wishes may close the mouth of his waterskin over a sinful thing.
