حَدِيثُ ابْنِ الرَّسِيمِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، ١٥٩٤٨ - حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ، [قَالَ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ] وَسَمِعْتُهُ أَنَا مِنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِي (١) شَيْبَةَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحِيمِ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ الْحَارِثِ التَّيْمِيِّ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ غَسَّانَ التَّيْمِيِّ، عَنِ ابْنِ الرَّسِيمِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ: وفَدْنَا عَلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَنَهَانَا عَنِ الظُّرُوفِ قَالَ: ثُمَّ قَدِمْنَا عَلَيْهِ فَقُلْنَا: إِنَّ أَرْضَنَا أَرْضٌ وَخِمَةٌ، قَالَ: فَقَالَ: " اشْرَبُوا فِيمَا شِئْتُمْ مَنْ شَاءَ أَوْكَى سِقَاءَهُ، عَلَى إِثْمٍ " (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
Rasim says that we went to the Prophet (ﷺ) as a delegation, and the Prophet (ﷺ) forbade us from using certain specific vessels. We came again and said: Our land is saline. The Prophet (ﷺ) said: You may drink water from whichever vessel you wish, and whoever wishes may close the mouth of his waterskin over a sinful thing.
