حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَامِرٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَقِيلٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ جَرْهَدٍ الْأَسْلَمِيِّ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَاهُ جَرْهَدًا، يَقُولُ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: " فَخِذُ الْمَرْءِ الْمُسْلِمِ عَوْرَةٌ " (١)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Jarhad that on one occasion the Prophet (ﷺ) said: The thigh of a Muslim is part of the 'awrah (private parts to be covered).
