حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَاحِدِ يَعْنِي ابْنَ زِيَادٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مَالِكٍ الْأَشْجَعِيُّ،، ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي طَارِقُ بْنُ أَشْيَمَ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُعَلِّمُ مَنْ أَسْلَمَ يَقُولُ: " اللهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي، وَارْحَمْنِي، وَارْزُقْنِي " وَهُوَ يَقُولُ: " هَؤُلَاءِ يَجْمَعْنَ لَكَ خَيْرَ الدُّنْيَا، وَالْآخِرَةِ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Tariq that when a person would come to the Prophet (ﷺ) and accept Islam, the Prophet (ﷺ) would teach him this supplication: "O Allah, forgive me, have mercy on me, grant me guidance, and provide for me." After that, he would say, "These things are comprehensive for both this world and the Hereafter."
