حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْيَمَانِ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا شُعَيْبٌ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ هِشَامٍ، أَنَّ مَرْوَانَ بْنَ الْحَكَمِ، أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنَ الْأَسْوَدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ يَغُوثَ أَخْبَرَهُ، أَنَّ أُبَيَّ بْنَ كَعْبٍ الْأَنْصَارِيَّ أَخْبَرَهُ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " مِنَ الشِّعْرِ حِكْمَةٌ "، وَكَانَ بَشِيرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ كَعْبٍ يُحَدِّثُ، أَنَّ كَعْبَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ كَانَ يُحَدِّثُ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " وَالَّذِي، ، نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ، لَكَأَنَّمَا تَنْضَحُونَهُمْ (١) بِالنَّبْلِ فِيمَا تَقُولُونَ (٢) لَهُمْ مِنَ الشِّعْرِ " (٣)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ubayy bin Ka'b (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: Some poetry is based on wisdom. It is narrated from Ka'b bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: By Him in Whose hand is my soul, the poetry you recite about the polytheists is as if you are showering them with arrows.
