حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ بَحْرٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عِيسَى بْنُ يُونُسَ، عَنْ، ، زَكَرِيَّا، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ سَعْدِ بْنِ زُرَارَةَ، أَنَّ ابْنَ كَعْبِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ حَدَّثَهُ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " مَا ذِئْبَانِ جَائِعَانِ أُرْسِلَا فِي غَنَمٍ أَفْسَدَ لَهَا مِنْ حِرْصِ الْمَرْءِ عَلَى الْمَالِ، وَالشَّرَفِ لِدِينِهِ " (١)، ،

Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Ka'b bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: "Two hungry wolves if let loose among a flock of sheep would not cause as much mischief as the greed for wealth and status causes in a man's heart."
