Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عُمَرَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ كَعْبِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، أَنَّ كَعْبَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ، قَالَ: " أَقَلُّ (١) مَا كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَخْرُجُ إِذَا أَرَادَ سَفَرًا، إِلَّا يَوْمَ الْخَمِيسِ " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ka'b bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) that it was very rare for the Prophet (ﷺ) to intend to travel and it not be a Thursday.
