حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، وَابْنُ بَكْرٍ، قَالَا: أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي ابْنُ شِهَابٍ، أَنَّ عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ كَعْبِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، حَدَّثَهُ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ كَعْبٍ، وَعَنْ عَمِّهِ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ كَعْبٍ، عَنْ كَعْبِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، قَالَ: " كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا يَقْدَمُ مِنْ سَفَرٍ إِلَّا نَهَارًا فِي الضُّحَى، فَإِذَا قَدِمَ بَدَأَ بِالْمَسْجِدِ، فَصَلَّى فِيهِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ، ثُمَّ جَلَسَ فِيهِ " وَقَالَ ابْنُ بَكْرٍ (٢) فِي حَدِيثِهِ: عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ كَعْبِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ عَمِّهِ (٣)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ka'b bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) that when the Prophet (ﷺ) would return from any journey, he would first go to the mosque, offer two rak'ahs there, and after concluding the prayer with salam, he would sit on his prayer mat, and people would come and greet the Prophet (ﷺ).
