قَالَ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كَامِلٍ الْجَحْدَرِيُّ فُضَيْلُ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ - أَمْلَاهُ عَلَيَّ مِنْ كِتَابِهِ الْأَصْلِ - قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو حَازِمٍ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ سَهْلَ بْنَ سَعْدٍ السَّاعِدِيَّ، يَقُولُ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " لَغَدْوَةٌ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ - أَوْ رَوْحَةٌ - خَيْرٌ مِنَ الدُّنْيَا وَمَا فِيهَا، وَلَمَوْضِعُ سَوْطِ أَحَدِكُمْ فِي الْجَنَّةِ خَيْرٌ مِنَ الدُّنْيَا وَمَا فِيهَا " (١)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Sahl bin Sa’d (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: Going out in the way of Allah for a morning or an evening is better than the world and whatever is in it, and the place of a whip of any person in Paradise is better than the world and whatever is in it.
