حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ، عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ، قَالَ: رَأَيْتُ الرِّجَالَ عَاقِدِي أُزُرِهِمْ فِي أَعْنَاقِهِمْ أَمْثَالَ الصِّبْيَانِ، مِنْ ضِيقِ الْأُزُرِ خَلْفَ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي الصَّلَاةِ، فَقَالَ قَائِلٌ: " يَا مَعْشَرَ النِّسَاءِ، لَا تَرْفَعْنَ رُءُوسَكُنَّ حَتَّى يَرْفَعَ الرِّجَالُ " (١)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Sahl bin Sa’d (may Allah be pleased with him) that I have seen those people who, due to the narrowness of their lower garments, used to tie knots of their garments around their necks like children, and they used to pray behind the Prophet (ﷺ) in this state. One day, someone said: O group of women, do not raise your heads from prostration until the men have raised their heads.
