حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ أَبِي حَازِمٍ، أَنَّ أَبَاهُ جَاءَ، وَرَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَخْطُبُ فَقَعَدَ فِي الشَّمْسِ، قَالَ: فَأَوْمَأَ إِلَيْهِ - أَوْ قَالَ: أَمَرَ (٢) بِهِ- " أَنْ يَتَحَوَّلَ إِلَى الظِّلِّ " (٣)، ،

Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Abu Hazim that once he presented himself in the court of the Messenger, and the Prophet (peace be upon him) was delivering a sermon. He (Abu Hazim) remained standing in the sun. The Prophet (peace be upon him) saw him and ordered him, so he moved to a shaded place.
