Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ تَمِيمِ بْنِ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ، رَجُلٍ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ فِي مَوْتِ الْفَجْأَةِ: " أَخْذَةُ أَسَفٍ " (١)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ubaid bin Khalid, who was a companion, that sudden death is a distressing death.
