Original Arabic
حَدِيثُ عُبَيْدِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ السُّلَمِيِّ (١)، ١٥٤٩٦ - حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي مَنْصُورٌ، عَنْ تَمِيمِ بْنِ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ، وَكَانَ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ: " مَوْتُ الْفَجْأَةِ أَخْذَةُ أَسَفٍ "، وَحَدَّثَ بِهِ مَرَّةً عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ubaid bin Khalid, who was a companion, that sudden death is a distressing death.
