حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا رَبَاحٌ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ طَاوُسٍ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ بْنِ خَالِدٍ، عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ الْمُطَّلِبِ بْنِ أَبِي وَدَاعَةَ السَّهْمِيِّ،، ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ: " " قَرَأَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِمَكَّةَ سُورَةَ النَّجْمِ فَسَجَدَ وَسَجَدَ مَنْ عِنْدَهُ " " " " فَرَفَعْتُ رَأْسِي، وَأَبَيْتُ أَنْ أَسْجُدَ، وَلَمْ يَكُنْ أَسْلَمَ يَوْمَئِذٍ الْمُطَّلِبُ، وَكَانَ بَعْدُ لَا يَسْمَعُ أَحَدًا قَرَأَهَا إِلَّا سَجَدَ " " (١)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Mutlib bin Abi Wada'ah that I saw the Prophet (ﷺ) perform the prostration of recitation at the verse of prostration in Surah An-Najm, and all the people also prostrated, but I did not prostrate because at that time I was a polytheist. Therefore, now I will never abandon the prostration in it.
