حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ عَبَّادِ بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو سَلَمَةَ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ، وَعَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْعَاصِ، وَعَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ الْمُسَيَّبِ الْعَابِدِيُّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ السَّائِبِ، قَالَ: " صَلَّى بِنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الصُّبْحَ، فَاسْتَفْتَحَ سُورَةَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ، حَتَّى إِذَا (٢) جَاءَ ذِكْرُ مُوسَى وَهَارُونَ - أَوْ ذِكْرُ (٣) عِيسَى، مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبَّادٍ شَكَّ، اخْتَلَفُوا عَلَيْهِ - أَخَذَتِ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ سَعْلَةٌ فَحَذَفَ، فَرَكَعَ " قَالَ: وَابْنُ السَّائِبِ حَاضِرُ ذَلِكَ (٤)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abdullah bin Sa’ib (may Allah be pleased with him) that when the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) began the Fajr prayer on the day of the conquest of Makkah, he recited Surah Al-Mu’minun in it. But when he reached the mention of Musa and Harun, he began to cough, so he shortened the recitation and went into bowing (ruku’).
