Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ رَاشِدٍ أَبِي سَعْدٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبْزَى، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ: " كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا جَلَسَ فِي الصَّلَاةِ فَدَعَا، وَضَعَ (٢) يَدَهُ الْيُمْنَى عَلَى فَخِذِهِ، ثُمَّ كَانَ يُشِيرُ بِأُصْبُعِهِ إِذَا دَعَا (٣) " (٤)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ibn Abzi that when the Prophet (ﷺ) would sit and supplicate in prayer, he would place his right hand on his thigh and gesture with his finger while supplicating.
