Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا (١) سُلَيْمَانُ يَعْنِي التَّيْمِيَّ، عَنْ أَبِي عُثْمَانَ يَعْنِي النَّهْدِيَّ، عَنْ عَامِرٍ يَعْنِي ابْنَ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ صَفْوَانَ بْنِ أُمَيَّةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " الطَّاعُونُ شَهَادَةٌ،، ، وَالْغَرَقُ شَهَادَةٌ، وَالْبَطْنُ شَهَادَةٌ، وَالنُّفَسَاءُ شَهَادَةٌ (١) " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Safwan bin Umayyah in a marfu’ form that dying from the disease of plague, or from a stomach illness, or by drowning, or in the state of postnatal bleeding, is also martyrdom.
