حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ بَحْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عِيسَى، حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ، عَنْ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: " مَا مِنْ مُسْلِمٍ، وَلَا مُسْلِمَةٍ، وَلَا مُؤْمِنٍ، وَلَا مُؤْمِنَةٍ، يُصِيبُهُ مَرَضٌ إِلَّا حَطَّ اللهُ عَنْهُ مِنْ خَطَايَاهُ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saying: Whenever a believing man or woman, or a Muslim man or woman falls ill, Allah forgives his or her sins.
