حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ دَاوُدَ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، قَالَ: " مَرَّ بِنَا النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنَ الْغَائِطِ فَدَعَوْنَاهُ إِلَى عَجْوَةٍ بَيْنَ أَيْدِينَا عَلَى تُرْسٍ، فَأَكَلَ مِنْهَا، وَلَمْ يَكُنْ تَوَضَّأَ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَأْكُلَ مِنْهَا " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Prophet (ﷺ) passed by us after relieving himself in a valley. We offered the Prophet (ﷺ) some Ajwa dates which were placed before us on a shield. The Prophet (ﷺ) ate them and did not perform ablution before eating.
