حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنٌ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ: أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَنْهَى عَنِ الْخَرْصِ وَقَالَ: " أَرَأَيْتُمْ إِنْ هَلَكَ الثَّمْرُ أَيُحِبُّ أَحَدُكُمْ أَنْ يَأْكُلَ مَالَ أَخِيهِ بِالْبَاطِلِ؟ " (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that he heard the Prophet (ﷺ) forbidding the selling of dates by estimation. He was saying: "Tell me, if the dates are ruined, what will you do? Do you want to consume your brother's wealth unjustly?"
