Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاوِيَةُ يَعْنِي ابْنَ عَمْرٍو، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو إِسْحَاقَ يَعْنِي الْفَزَارِيَّ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " مَا مِنْ مُسْلِمٍ، وَلَا مُسْلِمَةٍ، وَلَا مُؤْمِنٍ، وَلَا مُؤْمِنَةٍ يَمْرَضُ مَرَضًا إِلَّا حَطَّ اللهُ عَنْهُ مِنْ خَطَايَاهُ " (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: Whenever a believing man or woman, or a Muslim man or woman falls ill, Allah forgives their sins.
