حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللهِ، يَقُولُ: لَدَغَتْ رَجُلًا مِنَّا عَقْرَبٌ، وَنَحْنُ جُلُوسٌ مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ أَرْقِيهِ؟ فَقَالَ: " مَنْ اسْتَطَاعَ مِنْكُمْ أَنْ يَنْفَعَ أَخَاهُ فَلْيَنْفَعْهُ " (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that once we were sitting with the Prophet (ﷺ) when a man was stung by a scorpion. Another man said, "O Messenger of Allah! Should I recite (a ruqyah) over him?" The Prophet (ﷺ) said: "Whoever can benefit his brother should do so."
