Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَةُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، حَدَّثَنَا عَاصِمٌ يَعْنِي الْأَحْوَلَ، عَنْ عَامِرٍ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، قَالَ: " نَهَى رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ تُزَوَّجَ الْمَرْأَةُ عَلَى عَمَّتِهَا، أَوْ عَلَى خَالَتِهَا " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) forbade marrying a woman in the presence of her paternal or maternal aunt.
