Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، (١) أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " النَّاسُ تَبَعٌ لِقُرَيْشٍ فِي الْخَيْرِ، وَالشَّرِّ " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: People follow the Quraysh in both good and evil.
