Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا زَيْدُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ، حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ وَاقِدٍ اللَّيْثِيُّ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ، حَدَّثَنِي جَابِرٌ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: " إِنَّ أَقْوَامًا يَخْرُجُونَ مِنَ النَّارِ بَعْدَمَا مُحِشُوا فِيهَا، فَيُنْطَلَقُ بِهِمْ إِلَى نَهْرٍ فِي الْجَنَّةِ، يُقَالُ لَهُ: نَهْرُ الْحَيَاةِ، فَيَغْتَسِلُونَ فِيهِ، فَيَخْرُجُونَ مِنْهُ أَمْثَالَ الثَّعَارِيرِ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: When some people will be taken out of Hell, their faces will have been scorched by that time. Then they will be dipped into the River of Life. When they come out from there, they will emerge shining like cucumbers.
