حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ يَعْنِي ابْنَ خَالِدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا رَبَاحٌ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي رَجُلٌ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ، قَالَ: جَاءَ شَابٌّ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ: أَتَأْذَنُ لِي فِي الْخِصَاءِ؟ فَقَالَ: " صُمْ، وَسَلِ اللهَ مِنْ فَضْلِهِ " (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that once a young man came to the service of the Prophet (ﷺ) and said, "Will you permit me to be castrated?" The Prophet (ﷺ) said: "Observe fasting and ask Allah for His bounty."
