حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْأُمَوِيُّ، أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ جَابِرًا، وَسُئِلَ عَنْ الْعَزْلِ، فَقَالَ: " قَدْ كُنَّا نَصْنَعُهُ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
Someone asked Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) about 'azl (withdrawal), so he replied that during the blessed era of the Prophet (ﷺ), we used to practice 'azl (withdrawing the life-giving fluid outside).
