Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْأُمَوِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ، قَالَ: بَلَغَنِي عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " إِذَا طَبَخْتُمُ اللَّحْمَ، فَأَكْثِرُوا الْمَرَقَ أَوِ الْمَاءَ، فَإِنَّهُ أَوْسَعُ - أَوْ أَبْلَغُ - لِلْجِيرَانِ " (٣)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: When you cook meat, increase its broth, for this brings ease for the neighbors.
