حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ يَعْنِي الْعَدَنِيَّ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَجُلٌ لِلنَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: أَيُّ الْإِسْلَامِ أَفْضَلُ؟ قَالَ: " أَنْ يَسْلَمَ الْمُسْلِمُونَ مِنْ لِسَانِكَ، وَيَدِكَ ". وحَدَّثَنَاهُ وَكِيعٌ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ (١)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man presented himself in the court of the Prophet and asked: "Which Islam is the best?" The Prophet (ﷺ) said: "That other Muslims are safe from your tongue and your hand."
