حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو إِسْحَاقَ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ مُوسَى، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَرَّ بِقَوْمٍ فِي مَجْلِسٍ يَسُلُّونَ سَيْفًا يَتَعَاطَوْنَهُ بَيْنَهُمْ غَيْرَ مَغْمُودٍ، فَقَالَ: " أَلَمْ أَزْجُرْكُمْ عَنْ هَذَا؟ فَإِذَا سَلَّ أَحَدُكُمُ السَّيْفَ فَلْيُغْمِدْهُ، ثُمَّ لِيُعْطِهِ أَخَاهُ "، (١)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Prophet (ﷺ) passed by a group in the mosque who had drawn swords and were exchanging them with each other without sheathing them. The Prophet (ﷺ) said: Did I not strictly forbid you from doing this? When you draw swords, give them to each other only after sheathing them.
