حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ، حَدَّثَنَا مَطَرٌ، (٢) عَنْ عَطَاءٍ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " مَنْ كَانَتْ لَهُ أَرْضٌ فَلْيَزْرَعْهَا، فَإِنْ عَجَزَ عَنْهَا، فَلْيُزْرِعْهَا أَخَاهُ، وَإِلَّا فَلْيَدَعْهَا وَلَا يُكَارِيهَا " (٣)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: Whoever has a piece of land, he should cultivate it himself. If he cannot do so or is unable to, then he should give it to his brother as a gift, but not on rent.
