Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that we set out with the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) having donned the Ihram for Hajj. We performed the Tawaf of the House of Allah and the Sa’i between Safa and Marwah. Then the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) commanded us to consider it as Ihram for ‘Umrah and to come out of the state of Ihram. So we went out towards Batha, and a man said, “Today I will go to my wife.” When the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) came to know of this, he said, “If what came to me later had come to me earlier, I would not have brought the sacrificial animal with me, and I too would have come out of Ihram.”
