Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو، أَخْبَرَنَا زَائِدَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَقِيلِ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ، (١) قَالَ: " كَفَّنَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حَمْزَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ فِي ثَوْبٍ وَاحِدٍ "، قَالَ جَابِرٌ: " ذَلِكَ الثَّوْبُ نَمِرَةٌ " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) shrouded Hamza in a single cloth, and there were stripes on it.
