حَدَّثَنَا مِسْكِينُ بْنُ بُكَيْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا الْأَوْزَاعِيُّ، عَنْ حَسَّانَ بْنِ عَطِيَّةَ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْمُنْكَدِرِ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، قَالَ: أَتَانَا رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ زَائِرًا فِي مَنْزِلِنَا، فَرَأَى رَجُلًا شَعِثًا، فَقَالَ: " أَمَا كَانَ يَجِدُ هَذَا مَا يُسَكِّنُ بِهِ رَأْسَهُ "، وَرَأَى رَجُلًا عَلَيْهِ ثِيَابٌ وَسِخَةٌ، فَقَالَ: " أَمَا كَانَ يَجِدُ هَذَا مَا يَغْسِلُ بِهِ ثِيَابَهُ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) once came to our house to visit us. There he saw a man with disheveled hair and said, "Does he not find anything with which he can calm his hair?" And he saw a man wearing dirty clothes and said, "Does he not find anything with which he can wash his clothes?"
