Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي مَنْ رَأَى النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، " يُصَلِّي فِي ثَوْبٍ وَاحِدٍ، قَدْ خَالَفَ بَيْنَ طَرَفَيْهِ " (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that a person told me that he saw the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) praying in a single garment, the two ends of which were in opposite directions.
