حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ أَبِي الْعَبَّاسِ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ أَبِي عَمْرٍو، أَخْبَرَنِي مَوْلَايَ الْمُطَّلِبُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ حَنْطَبٍ،، ، أَنَّ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللهِ، قَالَ: صَلَّيْتُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عِيدَ الْأَضْحَى، فَلَمَّا انْصَرَفَ أَتَى بِكَبْشٍ فَذَبَحَهُ، فَقَالَ: " بِسْمِ اللهِ، وَاللهُ أَكْبَرُ، اللهُمَّ إِنَّ (١) هَذَا عَنِّي وَعَمَّنْ لَمْ يُضَحِّ مِنْ أُمَّتِي " (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that I offered the Eid al-Adha prayer with the Prophet (ﷺ). After the prayer, a ram was brought. The Prophet (ﷺ) slaughtered it, saying: "In the name of Allah, Allah is the Greatest," and said: "O Allah, this is from me and from all those in my ummah who cannot offer a sacrifice."
