Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say: Cover the vessels and tie the mouths of the water skins, for in the year there is a night in which afflictions descend. They pass by any vessel that is not covered or any water skin whose mouth is not tied, and they enter into it.
