Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، أَنَّ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " صَلَّى عَلَى النَّجَاشِيِّ، وَصَفَفْنَا خَلْفَهُ صَفَّيْنِ " (١)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) offered the funeral prayer for Najashi, and we formed rows behind him.
