Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ عَدِيٍّ، أَخْبَرَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ يَعْنِي ابْنَ عَمْرٍو الرَّقِّيَّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْكَرِيمِ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " عُمْرَةٌ فِي رَمَضَانَ تَعْدِلُ حَجَّةً " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: Performing ‘Umrah in Ramadan is equivalent to Hajj.
