حَدَّثَنَا حُجَيْنٌ، وَيُونُسُ، قَالَا: حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " مَنْ رَآنِي فِي النَّوْمِ، فَقَدْ، ، رَآنِي، إِنَّهُ لَا يَنْبَغِي لِلشَّيْطَانِ أَنْ يَتَمَثَّلَ فِي صُورَتِي "، وَقَالَ: " إِذَا حَلَمَ أَحَدُكُمْ، فَلَا يُخْبِرَنَّ النَّاسَ بِتَلَعُّبِ الشَّيْطَانِ بِهِ فِي الْمَنَامِ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: Whoever sees me in a dream has indeed seen me, for it is not within Satan’s power to assume my form. And he said: Do not relate to others the tricks and amusements that Satan plays with you in your dreams.
