حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ، قَالَ: سَأَلْتُ جَابِرًا عَنِ الْغُسْلِ؟ قَالَ جَابِرٌ: أَتَتْ ثَقِيفٌ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَقَالَتْ: إِنَّ أَرْضَنَا أَرْضٌ بَارِدَةٌ، فَكَيْفَ تَأْمُرُنَا بِالْغُسْلِ؟ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " أَمَّا أَنَا فَأَصُبُّ عَلَى رَأْسِي ثَلَاثَ مَرَّاتٍ "، وَلَمْ يَقُلْ، ، غَيْرَ ذَلِكَ (١)،
Translation
English translation
Abu Zubair says that I asked Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) about ghusl, so he said that the people of the tribe of Thaqif came to the Prophet (peace be upon him) and said, "Our area is cold, so what do you command us regarding ghusl?" The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "I used to pour water over my head three times." He did not say anything beyond this.
