حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ، أَنَّهُ سَأَلَ جَابِرًا عَنِ التَّصْفِيقِ وَالتَّسْبِيحِ، قَالَ جَابِرٌ: سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: " التَّصْفِيقُ لِلنِّسَاءِ فِي الصَّلَاةِ، وَالتَّسْبِيحُ لِلرِّجَالِ " (٣)، ،
Translation
English translation
Abu al-Zubair asked Jabir, may Allah be pleased with him, about the issue of Tasbih and Tasfiq: so he replied that I heard the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, saying that saying "Subhan Allah" in prayer is commanded for men, and clapping softly is commanded for women.
