حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَمُوتَ بِشَهْرٍ: " تَسْأَلُونِي عَنِ السَّاعَةِ، وَإِنَّمَا عِلْمُهَا عِنْدَ اللهِ، أُقْسِمُ بِاللهِ مَا عَلَى الْأَرْضِ نَفْسٌ مَنْفُوسَةٌ الْيَوْمَ يَأْتِي عَلَيْهَا مِائَةُ سَنَةٍ " (٣)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saying: People ask me about the Hour (Day of Judgment), although its true knowledge is only with Allah. However, I swear by Allah that none of those living today will remain alive after one hundred years.
