حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنٌ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ، قَالَ: سَأَلْتُ جَابِرًا، مَتَى كَانَ يَرْمِي رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ؟ فَقَالَ: " أَمَّا أَوَّلَ يَوْمٍ فَضُحًى، وَأَمَّا بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ، فَعِنْدَ زَوَالِ الشَّمْسِ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
Abu Az-Zubair says that I asked Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) at what time the Prophet (ﷺ) used to perform the Rami (stoning). He replied that the Prophet (ﷺ) threw pebbles at Jamrah Ula on the 10th of Dhul-Hijjah at the time of forenoon, and on the following days he performed Rami at the time of decline (after midday).
