حَدَّثَنَا هَارُونُ بْنُ مَعْرُوفٍ، (١) حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، حَدَّثَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ الْحَارِثِ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللهِ، يُذْكَرُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " فِيمَا سَقَتِ الْأَنْهَارُ وَالْغَيْمُ الْعُشُورُ، وَفِيمَا سَقَتِ السَّانِيَةُ نِصْفُ الْعُشُورِ " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: On land irrigated by rain or springs, ‘ushr (one-tenth) is obligatory, and on land irrigated by buckets, half of ‘ushr (one-twentieth) is obligatory.
