حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: " إِذَا أَنْسَانِي الشَّيْطَانُ شَيْئًا مِنْ صَلَاتِي، فَلْيُسَبِّحِ الرِّجَالُ، وَلْتُصَفِّقِ النِّسَاءُ " (٢)،

Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say: If Satan makes me forget any part of the prayer, then the men should say "Subhan Allah" and the women should clap with a light sound.
