حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْمُنْكَدِرِ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " لِكُلِّ نَبِيٍّ حَوَارِيٌّ، وَحَوَارِيَّ الزُّبَيْرُ " (١) ، سَمِعْتُ سُفْيَانَ بْنَ عُيَيْنَةَ يَقُولُ: الْحَوَارِيُّ يَعْنِي: النَّاصِرُ، ، مسند الإمام أحمد بن حنبل، (١٦٤ - ٢٤١ هـ)، حقق هذا الجزء وخرج أحاديثه وعلق عليه، شعيب الأرنؤوط - عادل مرشد - سعيد اللحام، الجزء الثالث والعشرون، مؤسسة الرسالة،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: Every prophet had a disciple, and my disciple is Zubair. Sufyan bin ‘Uyaynah says that the meaning of disciple (hawari) is helper and supporter.
